This small group journey is for travellers who wish to experience the highlights and magic sites of Morocco, whilst at the same time having the opportunity to be part of a Yoga Wellness Retreat with Evangeline Yeun, renowned Yoga teacher. Our Yoga journey will have a great mix of adventure, cultural sightseeing, wellness & Yoga. There will be, visits to women Co-ops, local art galleries, ancient Medinas, cooking classes, camel riding, and detoxing in traditional bath houses known as Hammams.
Our tour starts in the capital of Casablanca, with our first dinner being at “Ricks Cafe” the mythical saloon from the 1942 film “Casablanca” set in an old courtyard-style mansion built against the walls of the Old Medina of Casablanca, the restaurant is filled with architectural and decorative details reminiscent of the film. We next head to Marrakesh home to mosques, palaces and Islamic gardens. The Atlas Mountains is home to deserts, wildlife and Berber villages. We then travel to the Atlantic coastal town of Essaouria, to spend 4 glorious days in a beach resort.
A Sydney-based yoga teacher of 18 years, Evangeline’s love of yoga started off when she was living in San Francisco. She has participated in teacher trainings with Maty Ezraty, Twee Merrigan and has completed her Advanced Teacher Training with Mark Breadner. She now teaches Vinyasa, Yin, Hatha, Prenatal, Aerial Yoga, and Barre. ️
A land of staggering natural beauty, cultural complexities, rolling green rice paddies, and hill-tribe villages, Vietnam is both exotic and compelling and the perfect destination for Yoga & Wellness
We start in the northern city of Hanoi, known for its centuries-old architecture and rich Asian, Chinese, and French influences.
Next, we embark on a private Yoga & sightseeing cruise overlooking the magnificent UNESCO World Heritage site of Halong Bay.
Further on, prepare to be mesmerised in the heart of Zen Buddhism with a stay at a luxury hotel, built to look like a 13th-century Buddhist monastery and Chinese imperial palace.
After feeling spiritually rejuvenated, we head to the outskirts of the French colonial town of Hoi Ann and stay at a tranquil rural village
Yoga retreat.
Your mornings will be spent practising Yoga, enjoying spa and massage treatments, whilst overlooking the swaying palm trees and green rice paddies.
Our journey ends south in the capital of Saigon, known also as Ho Chi Minh City for more historical sightseeing and some incredible food experiences which Vietnam is famous for
