Members Sales Agreement - The Yoga Department

THE YOGA DEPARTMENT (“TYD”)

Introducing The Yoga Department, (“TYD”) a division of;

Tiwari Tours & Travel (ACN 146 088 315) (Meredith Wilks, Director, proprietor) (‘Tiwari’)

invites you to become an Affiliate Member of The Yoga Department

The membership is available for Yoga Teachers and Travel Agents and other “Agents”

Membership will entitle you to sell The Yoga Department’s online yoga package tours and receive commissions and discounts for your sale referrals.

Eligibility to become a member affiliate of The Yoga Department

Yoga Teachers

You must be a Yoga Teacher who is teaching yoga / giving yoga lessons
Teachers must have a minimum of 200 hrs Yoga teacher training qualification
If a business, the owner should have a business registration (e.g., ABN in Australia)
Teachers must commit to choosing 1 x Yoga Tour to market and sell to their student network with the first 12 months membership
Teachers must complete the TYD training to sell TYD tours
Teachers must agree and accept the commission and discount agreements
Teachers must agree to this membership Agreement

Others | Agents

If a business, the owner must have their own business registration (e.g., ABN in Australia)
Agents must complete the TYD training to sell TYD tours
Agents must agree to this Referral Sales Agreement
Agents must agree and accept the commission and discount agreements
Agents must agree & accept the terms of this Referral sales Agreement

How to become a member of The Yoga Department

Access to Membership Affiliate Portal

Affiliate members will have access to TYD Membership Dashboard portal by secure login and password
The Affiliate Membership Portal Dashboard, will contain all your member details, commissions, and promotional links to provide to your customers & students, for tour bookings through the Yoga Department website

Membership Affiliate Benefits & Discounts

Members are entitled to tour discounts. The discount value will vary according to the number of referral sales i.e.

1. Refer 12 – 18 + customers - 1 free spot-on tour (twin share room) or 1 x FOC (Free of charge)
2. Refer 6 – 11 customers – 50% discount off tour (twin share room)
3. Refer 1 -5 customers – 20% discount off tour price (twin share room)
4. No bookings – Members receive 10% discount off a tour price (twin share room)

Commissions Paid to all Member Affiliates

For each referrable & confirmed booking to a spot on a Yoga Department Tour, the affiliate member is paid $400 AUD commission per person/booking (gross)
Commission is paid in full on Day 2 after tour commencement date
Payment is made electronically into members nominated bank account
No contra deals, no split bank account payments, non-transferable monies
If a customer cancels their spot on a tour, the members commission is voided automatically
If a customer keeps a credit for future travel, the members commission remains valid

Selling Guidelines

Yoga Teachers will receive training after joining as Affiliate members
Yoga Teachers choose one Yoga Tour at time to sell and promote to their students with the aim of selling 12 spots & travelling and teaching on that tour
Yoga Teachers can choose to have exclusive private group Yoga tour if they have 18 + confirmed student’s bookings (i.e., no outsiders)
Agent Affiliates (non-yoga teachers) can sell individual spots to across all tours
All Yoga Tours travel with a minimum of 12 pax and a maximum of 18 students
Members will have access to destination tour flyers and social media tiles in the members dashboard for marketing purposes
All customers/travellers book a spot on the tour directly on the TYD website
No payments are to be made directly to member affiliates
TYD has the right to sell spots on any tours through other direct distribution channels e.g. bloggers or other travel industry agents

Teaching Yoga on the TYD Tour

A Yoga Teacher who sells /refers 12 + tour spots must travel on the chosen Yoga tour as the Yoga Teacher and teach yoga as per the set Yoga Tour itinerary (approx. 3 hrs per day)
Yoga Teachers can opt in to do additional teaching or training to their students in any FREE time offered and stated in the tour itinerary. (This must not interfere with the planned itinerary)
The Yoga Teacher works in collaboration with the Tour Leader and TYD staff in ensuring that the group tour is run professionally and efficiently
Yoga Teachers only teach yoga on the tour, they do not run the tour or make decisions on the tour logistics or itinerary
